Stage AV over the years have provided mobile entertainment for many weddings, corporate parties, school proms and balls covering venues across the South West. Whatever the occasion, we make it a night to remember. 

 

Our home is in the beautiful South West of England. Whilst we love events in this area, please be assured that we are happy to reach out to whoever requires our services, wherever they may be. Why choose us 

At Stage AV, we only use state of the art equipment (We always carry spare equipment to our events too). This enables us to offer the very best service in the business. All our equipment is fully PAT tested every 12 months and checked every time it moves in or out of our warehouse. 

 

Unlike many DJ companies, we have a wide variety of staff available which allows us to have a DJ on standby - just incase. Our agreements with you are always in airtight contracts - for your peace of mind. 

 

We like to make sure we run everything by the book. So, here at Stage AV, we have full PLI (public liability insurance)  and have a valid PRS licence (the right to play pre recorded music). All our DJs also have a current DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service), allowing us to safely work with young children and vulnerable adults. We also have PASMA certificates for working at height. We are happy to provide any paper work on request and, from our experience, many venues like to see them too. 

We believe that clear communication is key to success. This is why, from the first point of contact, to the completion of the event, you will always be able to contact a member of our friendly team. We also will arrange at least one face to face meeting with you and one of our DJs will call you a week before the event, just to make sure everything will be perfect.

Frequently asked questions 

I like the look of you mobile disco packages, how do I book?

Once you find a package that meets your requirements, contact our team either via the website or the contact details below. A member of our team will then get back to you with a personalised quote. Once you've agreed the quote, we will then send you a booking pack which will include a contract and the deposit amount (normally 25% of the balance). The booking will then be completed on the return of the contract and deposit.

When will my booking be guaranteed?

Your booking won't be guaranteed until we have received your signed contract and deposit. However, we will hold your date for 14 days once you have received a quote. 

How and when do I pay? 

After you have confirmed the quote, you will be asked for a deposit (normally 25% of the total balance). This can be paid either via BACS, or through PayPal. We will send all the details to you with our booking pack. The remaining balance must then be paid at least 7 days before the event (an invoice will be provided). We can delay this if needs be, but in all cases, the remainder will need to be paid before the event is scheduled to start. This can either be paid by cash, BACS or PayPal. Unfortunately, we no longer accept cheques. 

My friend said they booked a disco for £150. Why are you more expensive? Can you price match?

Like everything, from buying a pair of shoes, to buying a pizza, you get what you pay for. We are the first to admit that our Disco packages are not the cheapest on the market. And, you could easily half our fee by looking through the Disco category in your local yellow pages. We fully understand that many events do not have the budget to justify one of our Disco packages and we would not hold any grudge at all if you choose one of our competitors. 

It’s very expensive to make sure that everything is done professionally and safely so, it would be worth checking to make sure that they have Public Liability, Employers Liability, and Event Cancellation Insurance, PRS, Backup
equipment and personnel, Reliable equipment and vehicles, Smart and Professional crew members and most of all, do they have the image that you want for your event? Unfortunately it has become so easy for companies to start up mobile disco companies, buying cheap equipment from eBay and downloading songs from youtube (which is illegal) and don't sound as good as versions downloaded from reputable sources.

 

At Stage AV we like to do everything by the book. So, we have all the licences and relevant insurances to make your event safe (and fun too). We also travel with back up equipment in the unlikely event some thing does go wrong. All our music comes from CD's or brought from digital DJ pool. We want to work safely, reliably and provide you with the peace of mind that your event will certainly go off with a BANG, if supported by Stage AV. 

What's the best time of year to book?

Our prices do vary depending on the time of year and the day of the week due to peak times, and we offer discounts in our quiet periods. For example, Sunday - Wednesday is generally quieter then Thursday - Saturday. So, if you book your event on a Monday, it will be cheaper. Likewise, December is a busy time of year and February is quiet so it will be cheaper to book in February. 

It's 11:50pm and we only booked till 12am , but everyone is having a good time, can you carry on till 1am?

Yes, venue permitting however there is an additional fee of £50 per hour over the original contracted hours.
